Sacred Rage Release Ceremony

About the event
Most women were never taught what to do with anger. We learned to pretend it wasn't there, soften it, manage it, turn it inward. Or dress it up as “stress,” “overwhelm,” or “I’m just tired.” So instead of moving, rage settles. It shows up as tension in the jaw and chest, as resentment we don’t name. As exhaustion, anxiety, people-pleasing, or sudden shutdown.
Many of us carry a deep belief, spoken or not:
My anger is too much.
If I let it out, I’ll hurt someone or lose control.
Good women don’t feel this way.
But unexpressed anger doesn’t disappear. It gets stored in the body. Carrying it quietly takes a tremendous amount of energy.
Rage is not the problem, but suppressed rage is. Anger is a natural, biological response to crossed boundaries, loss, injustice, and unmet needs. When it’s safely expressed and metabolized, it doesn’t harm, it liberates. The body knows how to release anger. It just needs permission, structure, and safety.
What most women have never experienced is a space where:
Anger is welcomed without being analyzed
Expression is guided, not chaotic
Release happens without re-traumatization
The nervous system stays regulated while energy moves
This ceremony is not about venting or reliving the past. It’s about letting the body complete what it was never allowed to finish, so it no longer has to carry it.
Meet Your Team!
Samantha Warren, Voice and Visibility and Korinne Akridge, Take Your Mind Outdoors
This is a half-day, in-person Sacred Rage Release Ceremony for women in Boulder.
A carefully held, trauma-informed container designed to support safe expression, release, and integration.
Our time together will include:
Somatic Movement & Dance - intuitive, and accessible for all bodies
Regulated Breathing - techniques to soothe the nervous system
Guided vocal expression (optional and consent-based)
Intentional boundaries and choice at every step
Periods of stillness and integration so the nervous system can settle
Witnessing without fixing in a supportive, women-only space
Silent Community Hike - integrating everything in nature
There is no pressure to perform, scream, cry, or “break through.”
Your body leads. You choose your level of participation. Everything is optional.
This is about reclaiming your life force, not exploding it outward or turning it against yourself.
This space is for women who feel the weight of what they’ve been holding - and know, deep down, that it’s time to let it move.
If you’re ready to:
Stop carrying anger alone
Experience rage as clean, clarifying energy
Feel more grounded, spacious, and alive afterward
Be held in a skilled, regulated, in-person container
